About the Designer

Inspired by her mother, a commercial artist, Laurie Kent spent years nurturing her creativity while raising a family and moving across the country. Her love of fabric, pattern design, and artwork eventually led her to create machine embroidery and appliqué patterns, many of which reflect the coastal charm of the Maine summers she enjoyed as a child.
